One of the best banquets I've been to. It literally feels like a Durbar. The whole building has a rich Newari theme. The food was also really good with good staff. It is no less than a hotel.

I recently attended the wedding reception of a relative at this venue, and I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The banquet hall had a charming old-style design, and the dining area—called “Bardali”—was located on the top floor, offering a unique view of the activities taking place downstairs.
The hall was beautifully decorated in a traditional style, adding a warm and cultural ambiance to the event. The food exceeded my expectations—especially the vegetable momos prepared in the live kitchen, which were exceptionally juicy and flavorful.
What stood out even more was the serving of filter coffee, which is quite unusual at wedding receptions. As a coffee enthusiast, I thoroughly enjoyed a freshly brewed single shot of espresso.
Overall, it was a five-star experience that beautifully blended tradition with thoughtful hospitality.
